Goin' Fishin' Again

This is a learning game that you are able to crochet for any child.

The best thing about the pattern is it can be made out of nothing but scrap yarn. I have suggested colors and when to join or fasten off new colors, but, actually, you can add and subtract colors any time you run out of yarn.

My suggestion is to make the fish out of as many colors, and yarn thicknesses. This way the fish can be used to teach counting, colors and the concept of thick and thin, large and small plus numerous other game ideas that are included with the pattern.

This is the tote pattern included with the basic fish pattern. It is large enough to carry all of the fish you make with ease. It opens wide enough so any child will be able to put their fish back into it when they are done.

When your child outgrows the fish, the tote can be used for many years to carry other toys or items they need.
