Evan's Cowl and Hood

A former student
has been checking out my patterns on Facebook.

She asked me if I could make a hood with a neck covering on it and add some ears, like ones she has seen in stores.

I showed her one I had made with Blanket Yarn.
She loved it . . . but wanted it in a dark grey or black.

So, off to Michael's and Joanne's
to see what they had that was thick, dark, and warm.
Results . . . Loops and Threads "Country Loom."
A #5, Super Bulky yarn
in Rich Granite.

What do you think of my model?
Since I have to mail it to her
I may never see a picture of it worn

so I did the best I could.

The pattern is available in my Ravelry Store for $2.99
Just click on the link below.

All proceeds from this pattern will be donated
to a no-kill dog and cat maternity  shelter in Western New York
or a no kill dog shelter in my home state of Indiana.

The Fur~Babies and I thank you for your purchase

  1. Cute, especially on your model! :)

  2. This is absolutely ADORABLE! And your model is doing a precious job modeling for you. My cat would tear it off immediately and then hide. hehe
Would love if you shared this at our Yarn Fanatic Link Party -

  3. This is cute. It looks good on the dog, and I am glad the dog is a cooperative model.

  4. Thank you so much for sharing, and partying with us! I've chosen this hooded cowl as one of my Yarn Favorites Features in the newest Yarn Fanatic Link Party! Also pinned.

Hope you'll stop by to party with us again :)
