E's Cloch

This is a first pattern I have designed in a LONG time. 

At Christmas last year Miss E (my great niece) said,

"I know what I'm getting for Christmas.

You "sewed" me something!"

Her smile went away when I told her,I had given her the "Christmas themed" items for Thanksgiving so she could enjoy them during the whole holiday season. What I got her were some gloves that, when you pushed a certain spot, it activated a battery and the gloves lit up. She was pretty happy with them.

This year I decided I better get back to the "sewn" presents.

I used a 5.5 mm hook,

Caron Cakes in Cookies and Cream for the hat

and the flower was from Bernat Softee Chunky Pale Antique Rose.
