I just LOVE this idea. I wonder why I didn't think of it YEARS ago.
This pattern is made so that you can unroll it and have a checkerboard. The "checker" are buttons and are kept on large craft safety pins. These pins are used to keep the checkerboard rolled up when not in use.
This is THE PERFECT GIFT for anyone with children old enough to play checkers. It will give them something to do when waiting on a meal, a doctors appointment, anything. Now, wouldn't this be better than hearing them argue? I thought so:0}
