POINSETTIA TEA LIGHT COZY – free crochet pattern

I saw something with a crochet holder for a tea light. I knew I wanted to make some for Christmas presents, but didn't know what I wanted to make. After playing around all afternoon and evening, this is what I came up with.

I was going to starch the bracts (the red parts mot of us call the flowers when the yellow centers are actually the flower parts) but I thought the softness of the thread added to the look of a flower.

And the BEST PART . . . there is a small opening on the bottom so the light can be turned off and on without removing the candle.

There is a PRINT FRIENDLY button at the bottom of the post for your convenience.
